It has beautiful cinematography and excellent production design
The film is beautifully made with a strong visual look. The acting is strong, especially Richard Gere who plays the protagonist.
The greatest achievements of 39 years and a gift for cinema lovers
He gives a great and memorable performance, in the vein of Jack Nicholson in FIVE DOORS – a complicated character, not always likeable, but compelling. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I think it’s one of Paul Schrader’s. Recommended.
