Single malt des Highlands, The Dalmore en a la signature bien qu’il offre plus d’intensité que les 12 ans d’âge les plus classiques. Reconnaissable à son étui orné d’une tête de cerf portant de hautes cornes, ce whisky est d’abord vieilli en fûts de chêne blanc américain de bourbon. Il est ensuite élevé pendant 18 à 24 mois dans des fûts provenant de diverses tonnelleries et ayant accueilli un sherry façonné par la même maison. Épicé et gourmand, The Dalmore est non tourbé et marie la puissance à la douceur de notes fruitées et épicées.

Matured for an initial nine years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks before being carefully divided. One half continues its maturation in bourbon barrels, the other half is transferred to 30 year old Matusalem oloroso sherry casks.
