As the world teeters on the brink of destruction, Dietrich Bonhoeffer joins a deadly plot to assassinate Hitler, risking his faith and fate to save millions of Jews from genocide. portrayed in the film Walkiria (2008), after Hans von Donahue is accused as the "spiritual leader" of the attempt. There is no evidence that any man was involved in this particular event and it was only a pretense that eliminated both of them.. Dietrich Bonhoeffer: Against stupidity we have no defense. Neither protests nor force can touch it. There is no use in reasoning. Facts that contradict personal prejudices can simply be disbelieved – indeed, a fool can counteract them by criticizing them, and if they are indisputable, they can simply be dismissed as trivial exceptions.. I love Angel studios productions. But it was a struggle to keep up, the jumping back and forth in time was hard to follow, and I honestly fell asleep a few times. I wanted to like it, but I just couldn’t recommend this one. I didn’t know this guy before, and this movie didn’t help me understand his significance to the story. Scattered, broken, no continuity. It’ll make your head spin, but so slowly that you can’t help but nod. The acting was good, the characters believable, but the plot was too broken. Too hard to keep up with. Not enough reasons to understand and care about the main character.
