Paul Mescal and Tom Burke were originally cast in the lead roles, but both ended up dropping out after the project stalled in development and were replaced by Barry Keoghan and Christopher Abbott.
They both do so much more with their roles than anyone else
The entire cast does a fantastic job, but the most notable would have to be Nora-Jane Murphy, Barry Keoghan, and Christopher Abbot (whose accent is unreal for an American).
They’re also very relevant to our world right now, so they really spoke to me
The themes of abuse, violence, and the inability to properly communicate are very much welded together here.
I’m very excited to revisit this for general release
