He’s smart. He’s adorable. He’s Dexter Morgan, America’s favorite serial killer, who spends his days solving crimes and his nights committing them.. During the eighth season, Angel Batista was not always played by David Zayas. His son David Zayas Jr. fills in for his father in some scenes, as the two look remarkably alike.. Visible throughout the first season, Dexter has a large scar on his left side. Later in the second season, the scar has moved to the right side, leaving the left side unmarked.. Dexter Morgan: I have lived in darkness for a long time. Over the years my eyes have adjusted, until the darkness became my world and I could see.. Appeared at the 64th Golden Globe Awards (2007). This will be my first review on IMDb, there is not a day that I don’t visit IMDb to check reviews of movies or TV shows that I watch, I watch a lot of movies and shows. For the first time in my life I couldn’t sleep after watching a show. I have watched Prison Break, Heroes and many others. The first season of Prison Break and Heroes were amazing. They inspired me so much that I got tattoos on my body. However both of these shows fell apart as soon as they moved on to the next season. Heroes was a huge disappointment but DEXTER… OMG series after series it starts to make me so curious about the next episode… damn season 4. I couldn’t sleep all night after watching it. I spent the weekend binge watching the episodes one after the other. To start with Dexter (Michael C. Hall), his darkness was out of control, he played the role so well that sometimes I wonder if it is the same in his real life, but then I found out that Debra Morgan (Jennifer Carpenter) is his real wife who plays his sister in this series. Damn, Debra is such a confusing character and mostly controlled by the people around her, she always ends up doing something wrong but she always gets the credit for the good things too. I love the part where you find out what is going on in Dexter’s mind when he thinks about something or when someone talks to him, also the part where he talks to his late father Harry. (just think what his father would say in that situation). All the episodes/characters and all the seasons are so well written and acted that you can hardly find a flaw. My favorite characters are Dexter (pretty obvious), Rita and Vince Masuka. Damn, Vince is so funny, he just has to say one word in the whole episode and it becomes so damn funny. I can’t wait for season 5 and I’m sure anyone who’s watched Dexter feels the same way. (I apologize if my first review contains errors and hurts anyone’s feelings)
