The cast delivers some truly great performances
The story is solid, with plot twists that keep the viewer on the edge of their seat, and the cinematography perfectly captures the eerie atmosphere. However, I have to say that Ms.
Lynch’s performance was quite disappointing
Her performance was very one-dimensional, which unfortunately stood out in a cast full of strong, nuanced portrayals. It’s not about race – I can think of several brilliant black actresses who could have brought more depth and complexity to the role.
It’s certainly not perfect, but it’s worth your attention
Her performance simply didn’t live up to the quality of the series as a whole, which was disappointing. Regardless, the series is worth watching for its story and the outstanding performances from the rest of the cast.
